About

The NWCS Thrift Store began in 1985 in a mobile home in the back parking lot of the Central Campus. The volunteer women’s auxiliary began the project during this critical financial period in the schools’ history. The primary goal was to support the school’s operating budget, and to help make Christian education affordable to students. Therefore, the motto was adopted “Donate to Educate”.

The space on the Central Campus was quickly outgrown, and in 1987 a building on E. Francis was leased, where the business continued to grow for the next four years. The fall of 1991, the business was moved to the current location at 6607 N. Maple St. to accommodate greater expansion needs.
